PRP Explained

PRP therapy involves extracting platelets from the patient's blood and re-injecting them into the skin. This stimulates collagen production, accelerates tissue repair, and enhances skin tone and texture. PRP is commonly used for facial rejuvenation, hair restoration, and scar treatment.

Procedure

The procedure begins by extracting a small sample of your blood, much like during a routine blood test. This blood sample is then processed in a centrifuge to separate the plasma from the rest of the components. The extracted plasma, rich in platelets and growth factors, is then carefully injected or applied using a skin needling technique to targeted areas of concern, which may include the under eyes, nasolabial folds, neck, fine lines, pigmentation, wrinkles, scars, and more. It's typically recommended to undergo 3-6 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results.

Bio-Filler Explained

Bio-Filler is typically made by drawing a small amount of your blood and processing it (usually heating and spinning it in a centrifuge) and turning components like plasma into a gel-like substance. This filler is injected back into areas that need volume or smoothing
It’s closely related to treatments like Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, but Bio-Filler is thicker and acts more like a traditional filler.
